Philips Domestic Appliances has appointed Pooja Baid as Head of Marketing for India. A seasoned commercial marketer, Pooja has over 14 years of experience building profitable businesses from the ground up and building powerful brands across various industries. In her new role, she will be responsible for driving the overall marketing strategy for Philips Domestic Appliances, India.
“Prior to joining Philips Domestic Appliances, Pooja worked with Coca-Cola India Pvt. Ltd., working on all of their brands including Thums Up, Sprite and Coca-Cola. His team was instrumental in creating the one of the most memorable campaigns of the last year, ThumsUp PalatDe. She also worked with ITC Ltd., where she played a vital role in building multiple brands through her various roles,” the company said.
Attracted by challenges, with a vision to push her limits and go beyond, Pooja also built, managed and sold an e-commerce portal in the field of food aggregation, quite early in her career. She enjoys working with start-ups and mentoring them to help them grow their business.
Pooja holds an MBA from the International Management Institute, Delhi and is an alumnus of St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, from where she graduated with honors in economics.
