Batman vs. Riddler & Joker – Round 2?

The Batman gave Paul Dano the opportunity to deliver a spooky and terrifying version of the Riddler, a character not seen in live-action since Jim Carrey’s 1995 portrayal batman forever. Just the fact that he’s alive in Arkham Asylum could mean he’s far from done terrorizing Gotham, especially now that he’s met the Clown Prince of Crime.

Seeing this kind of material released after the film’s full debut makes it clear that there’s more Riddler’s story to tell, no matter how long it takes him to return. Looking at how Gotham is now completely underwater and reeling from the events of The Batmanthe Riddler and the Joker might have all the ammunition they need to unleash even more mayhem.

As for Barry Keoghan’s Joker, the MCU/DCU dual star has been tight-lipped about his future prospects as Batman’s most famous villain. Even so, his few minutes on screen showed just how creepy he was with his personality alone; it should only be a matter of time before the new Mr. J. unleashes his full power.
